BRIEF HISTORY OF CEREPC

The Centre for Research, Environmental Protection and Conservation-Cameroon (CEREPC Cameroon) was created in March 2008,by a team of University graduates from the University of Buea and Dschang to initially help students facing difficulties in bio-conservation research and foster sustainable biodiversity protection and conservation. Later it was registered in July 2009 as a legal organization to foster grounded research on African biodiversity and species, help develop management plans, and guide environmental conservation and management.CeREPC was set up to fill this need by conducting, supporting and encouraging research into all aspects of the environment.
